Together with a team of scholars working on eleven languages, I was the co-PI for an NSF grant proposal to explore how speakers in these languages use morpho-syntactic resources to manage self-repair in conversation. We have found that the morpho-syntactic organization of each language shapes the self-repair strategies used.  We are currently finishing up a book manuscript which will share our results.
