The CEAS summer hybrid work policy ended on July 31. The transition to the new Hybrid Work Policy began Aug. 1 and should be in place for all employees by Aug. 22 (final implementation date).
The campus’s Standards of Practice are intended to meet the needs of our students and to accomplish the university’s academic mission. The Standards of Practice for all staff on the CU Boulder campus are the following:
To comply with the Office of Space Optimization’s campus space guidelines and to ensure efficient space use within the college, all staff (regardless of title) working a hybrid work modality could be asked to share an office, and all faculty and staff working a fully remote modality could be asked to work in a hoteling office or station when on campus.
This is referring to any construction or modification that might have been done to the space, such as knocking down a wall to create a larger hoteling office, adding desks to create a shared workstation office, etc.
The flaw in the online form has been reported Campus HR. Please select “other” if none of the fields are applicable. The Work Agreement Form is for all staff, all researchers, and only faculty who are 100% remote. No other faculty need to complete the Work Agreement Form.
For clarification, the separate Work Modality Tracker needs to be completed by all personnel in a unit, which does include faculty.
While the college has requested on campus and remote days every semester for staff since fall 2021, we have not required detailed info down to the hours level. Please complete this campus requirement as best you can for all employees.
Supervisors are encouraged to have these conversations directly with your personnel and complete as applicable. The college does not have standard language, but if a unit wants to create standard language you are welcome to do so.
Please contact ceashr@colorado.edu. CEAS HR will initiate an email with the Campus HR developer for further support.
