Boulder veterinarian John McGee will present a talk and slide show at the University of Colorado at Boulder Sibell Wolle Fine Arts Building at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, titled "Orphanages of China: An Adoptive Father's Perspective." Ecology And Human Reproduction Topic Of Feb. 13 CU-Boulder Lecture

Peter Ellison, a leading researcher in human reproductive physiology, will give a public talk at the University of Colorado at Boulder on Thursday, Feb. 13. Ellison, who will be on campus as part of the CU-Boulder anthropology department's Distinguished Lecturer series, will speak at 5:30 p.m. in the Hale Science building, room 270. The event is free and open to the public.

Liquid Crystals Topic Of CU Wizards Feb. 15 Show

The scientific concepts of light, polarization and optics will be explained through a number of experiments, including creating a giant soap bubble, during the Feb. 15 CU Wizards show "Liquid Crystals." University of Colorado at Boulder physics faculty members Noel Clark and Joseph Maclennan and chemistry Professor David Walba will present the show at 9:30 a.m. in Duane Physics room G1B30. The show, aimed primarily at students in grades five through nine, is free and open to the public.

CU-Boulder Judicial Affairs Announces New Coordinator

Christina Baker Zwerenz is the new coordinator for judicial affairs at the University of Colorado at Boulder. "We're extremely pleased that she decided to accept the position," said Matthew Lopez-Phillips, director of the Office of Judicial Affairs.
