CU-Boulder aerospace engineering faculty and students

to view NASA memorial at engineering center today

Aerospace engineering faculty members and students at the University of Colorado at Boulder will gather to watch today's NASA memorial service for the astronauts who died in the Saturday explosion of the space shuttle Columbia.

The two viewing locations will be in the Lockheed Martin Room and the Ellison Onizuka Room, both in the aerospace engineering wing of the engineering center. The Lockheed Martin Room is room 1B16 and is located in the basement of the northeast aerospace wing of the engineering center. The Ellison Onizuka Room is room AE 199 located on the first floor of the northeast wing.

The engineering center is located at Colorado Avenue and Regent Drive on campus. The NASA memorial service is being held at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. The CU-Boulder service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday on campus.

For both rooms, enter the aerospace engineering wing from the parking lot at Regent Drive and Colorado Avenue on the northeast corner of the engineering center by the loading dock. After entering the double doors, go down the hall to the Lockheed Martin Room, which is located on the right. For the Ellison Onizuka Room, take the stairs up one flight to the first floor.

Main viewing will be in the Lockheed Martin Room with overflow viewing in the Onizuka Room.
