Nu Rho Psi, the National Honor Society in Neuroscience

The official mission and purpose of is to:

• encourage professional interest and excellence in scholarship, particularly in neuroscience 
• award recognition to students who have achieved such excellence in scholarship 
• advance the discipline of neuroscience
• encourage intellectual and social interaction between students, faculty, and professionals in neuroscience and related fields
• promote career development in neuroscience and related fields
• increase public awareness of neuroscience and its benefits for the individual and society
• encourage service to the community

Requirements to Join 

• Major in Neuroscience
• Completion of 3 college semesters
• Completion of 9 credit hours of Neuroscience major courses, of which at least 6 credit hours have NRSC prefix
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Neuroscience major GPA of 3.5 or higher

Nu Rho Psi collaborates closely with the Neuroscience Club in community service events!
