Changes to Summer & Fall 2021 Academic Calendar Dates

The following Summer and Fall 2021 academic calendar dates have moved up by one week (revised dates shown).

New Tab in Campus Solutions' Student Services Center (Admin View)

As of Friday, Oct. 23, a new "3C Summary" tab is now available on Campus Solutions' Student Services Center (Admin View) page. This tab display any 3Cs checklists, comments or communications that the user has access to view.

Spring 2021 Enrollment Appointment Times Visible to Staff on Nov. 2

Student enrollment appointment start and end times will be visible to staff through Campus Solutions' Student Services Center (Admin View) page starting Monday, Nov. 2.

Fall 2020 Deadline Reminders for Oct. 30

This Friday, Oct. 30, is the last day for students to do the following for the Fall 2020 semester: drop a class, submit or cancel a grade replacement request, and change a class's grade mode from letter grade to pass/fail or vice versa.

2021–22 Catalog: Academic Program Pages Open for Edits

Starting today, academic program pages in the 2021–22 catalog will open for edits, with a target department/unit review deadline of Dec. 18. (All other catalog pages will open for edits in December.)

While I am convinced that replicating spring 2020's expansion of pass/fail options is not the best choice for this fall semester, I do urge all of our instructors to show compassion for the stress our students are feeling as a result of this year's less than optimal teaching and learning conditions.

In-Person/Hybrid Instruction Resumes Oct. 14

With sincere gratitude for the outstanding work of our student body, we will transition from our temporary remote teaching mode and resume in-person/hybrid teaching on Wednesday, Oct. 14. We expect most classes to fully return to their original fall 2020 instructional modes by this date, with exceptions based on specific public health requirements and individual faculty requests, subject to department chair and dean approvals.

2021–22 Catalog Publication: Please submit workflow updates by Oct. 12
