2015 Pathways
The advertising, public relations and media design activity asked students to create an advertising tool to drive home a positive message of the students’ choosing.
The communication activity will ask students to look critically at how the media creates images and messages that help and/or hinder society’s attempts at social justice.
In journalism, students will be placed into four groups and produce multimedia journalistic content on:
- Social Justice and Cultural Diversity
- Social Justice and Intercollegiate Athletics
- Social Justice and Economic Inequality
- Social Justice and Transgender Issues
