Some 75% of students at the College of Music receive scholarships or financial aid and the college's new supports students from all backgrounds in their academic pursuits. Ingrid Anderson, president of the undergraduate music student government, came to the College of Music as a violin performance major, but soon discovered that she wished to explore the sciences, as well. “My scholarship has given me the opportunity to figure out what I want to do and go for it," says Anderson, who's pursuing a double major in violin performance and neuroscience.
