The Summer Music Academy at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Music presents exciting opportunities for high school and middle school musicians from Colorado and around the country to receive world-class instruction.

SPA 2024

In summer 2023, the College of Music and Sphinx Performance Academy (SPA) partnered to provide a full-scholarship intensive summer chamber music and solo performance program focused on cultural diversity for string musicians ages 11-17; in 2024, our college again hosted this nationally acclaimed program on the CU Boulder campus. The SPA offers a curriculum that includes lessons, master classes, recitals, career enrichment sessions and mentorship tailored to each student.

Alexander Technique Plus Program

The Alexander Technique Plus (AT+) summer experience includes significant aspects of the Alexander Technique, Body Mapping, movement, mindfulness and psychology—all in the service of inclusive well-being.

Summer Master of Music Education

The Summer MME degree at the University of Colorado Boulder is designed to address a variety of interests, needs and areas of expertise of K-12 teachers. Â鶹ÒùÔº working toward an MME degree complete 12 hours of study in music education, 12 hours of study in music and six hours of open electives.
