CU Opera will open its 2014-15 season with Gilbert and Sullivan’s beloved comic operetta, “The Pirates of Penzance,” at Macky Auditorium Oct. 24-26. “This is one of the two or three most important pieces by Gilbert and Sullivan, and we’ve got just the right students to fill these roles,” says Leigh Holman, director of CU Opera. “This is a delightful piece and audiences just go crazy for it.”

He has served leading roles in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Don Juan in Prague, Don Giovanni, Rigoletto, The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance and numerous others.
