Employers & Partners

As a professional graduate program, we are constantly looking for ways to bring our curriculum to life and allow our talented pool of students to interface directly with professionals from across a variety of industries in the corporate, consulting, educational, government, and non-profit sectors.

Below you can learn about the variety of ways, including through the Capstone Project, that organizations engage with the MENV program. If you would like more information, please contact Alice Reznickova, MENV Capstone Lead, at Alice.Reznickova@colorado.edu.

Ways to Engage

The centerpiece of the MENV program is the Capstone Project. This year-long project is completed in partnership with a sponsoring organization or institution from the public, private, or non-profit sector. MENV students work in small groups to provide innovative solutions and products to Capstone client organizations. Please contact Alice Reznickova at Alice.Reznickova@colorado.edu.

Networking & Community Events

The MENV program hosts a series of events throughout the year, such as happy hours, lectures, film screenings, and outdoor excursions. We invite external sponsors and partners to help us create events that have benefits both for our students and faculty, and the surrounding professional community. Please contact Molly Thompson at molly.thompson@colorado.edu.

Guest Lectures & Panel Discussions

MENV invites external partners to campus to participate in lectures and panel discussions. These talks can take place during a graduate class or outside of normal business hours. Professionals will have the opportunity to promote their work and influence the next generation of environmental leaders. Please contact Myles Maland myles.maland@colorado.edu.

Our program invites professionals to lead workshops, seminars, or field trips for our students. Workshops and seminars can range from topical or technical, to professional skills development, and usually take place on campus on Fridays. Please contact Molly Thompson at molly.thompson@colorado.edu.
