Osnes鈥� most recent collaboration,听,听is an art-science approach to youth engagement for climate communication in relationship with local birds. This project features听听of large-scale bird puppets of numerous Colorado species.听Side by Side听was awarded major funding through the National Science Foundation听Advancing Informal STEM Learning听from 2023-2027. Her most recent creative work is听, a听performance experience designed听for participants to travel through a butterfly鈥檚 metamorphosis from egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, to butterfly as a way of receiving guidance for change from the natural world.听With her collaborator Max Boykoff, she explores climate comedy through听听补苍诲听.听听for a climate musical by Osnes,听Shine, are available for engaging youth in authoring climate and energy solutions.听听She co-developed听, an online open-source collection of climate-related tools and activities, for student learning and climate action. Her books include听听and听.听She is co-director of听听for creative climate communication and co-founder of听听for female and non-binary youth vocal empowerment. She is featured in the award-winning documentary听. She serves as the faculty advisor for CU鈥檚听Arts & Sciences Support of Education Through Technology.
