Fellowship and Scholarship Programs

The Crown Institute’s vision of a future where every young person thrives will take generations of dedicated hearts and minds to realize. Undergraduate mentoring and learning is a pillar of growing the next generation of researchers who can carry the work of the Renée Crown Wellness Institute into the future to bring about change.

Through our fellow, scholarship, and mentoring programs, we seek to bring students into the collaborative design processes of our research. These young people serve as both participants and designers of our work, providing vision and feedback that can inform the iterative design of rigorous and caring programs of learning and practice.

Through our fellowship, scholarship, and mentoring programs, we seek to bring students into the collaborative design processes of our research and programs.

Barry and Sue Baer Endowed Scholarship

The Barry and Sue Baer Crown Institute Scholarship supports undergraduate students within the Crown community as they consider careers in supporting the mental health and wellness of youth and young adults. This scholarship supports students in pursuing project-based and experiential learning experiences via a scholarship award. Scholarships will be awarded for one academic year with the opportunity to renew.

Undergraduate Research Fellows

The Undergraduate Research Fellows Program is building a home to a community of undergraduate students, supported by faculty and staff, who are exploring their own research passions as they emerge as the next generation of wellness scientists, practitioners, and leaders. This program is guided by our 5-phase model of cyclical and iterative co-design.
