Advances in business knowledge and technology have radically changed business systems, organization structures and processes. As a result, critical to today's businesses is the ability to get the right information to the right people at the right time, so that both strategic and operational decisions are made properly and quickly. Â鶹ÒùÔº majoring in Management and Entrepreneurship will learn to recognize the pivotal role that information plays in the business world and to use their knowledge to increase business competitiveness.
Â鶹ÒùÔº completing the management and entrepreneurship area of emphasis are viewed by potential employers as having the education required to successfully compete in the team-oriented, horizontally organized and globally competitive environments of the 21st century. The Management and Entrepreneurship area of emphasis prepares students for careers leading organizations through starting new ventures, managing people and process in existing organizations, and shaping strategic operations by harnessing information in an analytic or consultative capacity.

The operations management track focuses on a creative process and identifies how organizations use productivity, quality, flexibility, timeliness, and technology to compete and prevail in their markets.
Learn how to identify and create value, how to make decisions in fast moving and rapidly changing environments, and how to construct business models from startups to global conglomerates with our strategy and entrepreneurship track.
