Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grants are key ways university spinouts and innovation firms fund their technologies' early development and commercialization. The Center for Translational Research will host a dynamic, week-long virtual conference featuring experts across the Colorado and national innovation ecosystem to highlight this program's strategic use.
Features Jeanne Barthold (Center for Translational Research) and Tim Morrissey (Venture Partners at CU Boulder Entrepreneur-in-Residence for the Ascent Deep Tech Accelerator) as well as agency representatives from the National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Energy (DOE), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
