The Center for Humanities & the Arts (CHA) is seeking submissions from undergraduate students for our Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Art.

Call for Submissions
Calling all CU Boulder undergraduate students to submit for the CHA鈥檚 Undergraduate Award for Excellence in Art competition. These awards are designed to highlight impressive works of art from any area including but not limited to: visual arts, music, performance, film, dance, theatre, etc. All undergraduate students are invited to submit; groups and collaborative teams are encouraged to apply! Works must be completed. Proposals for new work and projects will not be considered.
Submission Deadline: March 3, 2024
About the Theme
The CHA鈥檚 2023 - 2024 academic year programming centers around the theme is 鈥淟iberty, Freedom, Democracy: The Fight for Ideas鈥�. The CHA recognizes that the words 鈥榣iberty鈥�, 鈥榝reedom鈥�, and 鈥榙emocracy鈥� have had different connotations throughout history, some seen as negative. The CHA is looking for creative interpretations and responses to this theme.
