CU-Boulder Hosts Creative Exhibit For Advertising 麻豆淫院 Dec. 13-27

The School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Colorado at Boulder will hold its first Creative Exhibit by Advanced Advertising 麻豆淫院 Dec. 13-27 at the Dairy Center for the Arts. An opening reception for the exhibit, along with a ceremony for recipients of the One Club scholarship awards, will be held Dec. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the center, 2590 Walnut St. in Boulder.

CU-Boulder Undergraduate Programs Offer Unique Research Opportunities

The University of Colorado at Boulder聮s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program and the Residential Academic Program in Baker Hall are facilitating extensive undergraduate participation in faculty research. The Baker Hall Academic Program is designed for incoming CU-Boulder freshmen and sophomores who plan to focus on natural sciences and environmental studies with a strong research orientation. Lecture To Focus On Historic Perspective Of 2000 Election

The 2000 Election in Historical Perspective," will be the subject of a talk Dec. 6 in the continuing history lecture series sponsored by the University of Colorado at Boulder Office of Community Affairs and Front Range Community College. Andy DeRoche, history instructor at Front Range Community College, will discuss past presidential elections that were crises for the country, including elections of 1800, 1824 and 1860 involving historical figures such as Thomas Jefferson, Aaron Burr, John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln.

State-Of-The-Art Classrooms Are Enhancing Instruction At CU-Boulder

Someday the typical classroom may look a lot like two new ones in CU-Boulder聮s Eaton Humanities Building, with rows of computers all linked to each other and the day聮s coursework displayed on several large projection screens. The classrooms, one equipped with 18 Macintosh G4 computers and one with 23 Dell Pentium III聮s, have state-of-the-art equipment throughout and an interactive network design linking the instructor and students as never before. The high-tech equipment has created strong demand among faculty who are finding new ways to use computers in the classroom.

CU-Boulder Business Professor Elected To Honor Society Board Of Governors

John Lymberopoulos, a professor of international business and finance at the University of Colorado at Boulder, has been elected to the board of governors of Beta Gamma Sigma. As a member of the board, Lymberopoulos will help govern more than 440,000 Beta Gamma Sigma members worldwide. His term will run through June 2004.

CU-Boulder To Donate Buffalo Hugs To Dental Aid, People's Clinic In Boulder

CU-Boulder students will deliver 50 Buffalo Hugs pillows to children at Dental Aid and the San Juan/Broadway People聮s Clinic in Boulder on Wednesday, Dec. 6, continuing a program begun this fall to comfort young patients during visits to the dentist or doctor. Deliveries of 25 Buffalo Hugs each to the Dental Aid Boulder Clinic, 4155 Darley Avenue, Suite C, and the San Juan/Broadway People聮s Clinic, 3100 34th St., will be at 9:30 a.m. at Dental Aid and at 10:15 a.m. at the People聮s Clinic.

Internationally Known Expert On Middle East To Visit CU-Boulder

Judith Kipper, an internationally known expert on issues in the Middle East including Arab-Israeli relations and the peace process, will visit the University of Colorado at Boulder campus Dec. 5 and Dec. 6 as a guest of the World Affairs Athenaeum program. Kipper will talk about "Threats and Challenges: Assessing U.S. Interests in the Middle East" during a public forum Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Eaton Humanities Building, room 150.
