Buffs All In—CU Boulder’s annual giving day—returns for its second year on March 6.
For 24 hours, donors will have the opportunity to support campus funds that they find most meaningful. Buffs everywhere will unite behind CU Boulder students and researchers as they lead, innovate and make their impact felt like never before.
A giving day fosters a sense of community and collective action. At CU Boulder, Buffs are called to lay it all on the line and move forward as one to prove what it means to be Buffs All In.
The 2024 campaign embraces CU Boulder’s three pillars—leadership, innovation and impact—as rallying points for a day dedicated to students’and researchers’ relentless pursuit of excellence and determination to make a positive difference in the world.
Donors will have the opportunity to support CU Boulder’s people, programs and determined spirit through the following featured funds, as well as a number of other funds across campus:
Financial Aid Endowment Fund
The Financial Aid Endowment Fund provides scholarship support for students with demonstrated financial need. This fund fuels life-changing opportunities for students—positively impacting future generations of families.
“It is with honor and gratitude that I would like to thank the scholarship donors...for awarding me with this prestigious scholarship. As a low-income, first-generation student, college is intimidating enough. [This] scholarship will greatly benefit me in the financial area and calm some of the worries college brings.”

“I have learned so much over the course of my four years at CU, but the biggest thing I have learned is that learning never ends! My educational experience will not stop when I leave campus, and I want to keep the same sense of curiosity for the world that I have always had. There are always new ideas, perspectivesand lessons to learn, and I will always be searching those out.”
Student Emergency Fund
The Student Emergency Fund provides support for students who are facing emergency situations or unanticipated life events that could adversely affect their academic goals at CU Boulder.
“The Student Emergency Fund was a lifesaver as a first-generation student. Circumstances and life are constantly changing, and unfortunately, I fell into a scary space. The emergency fund gave me a lifeline to focus on being a student and person.”
Chancellor Philip DiStefano has approved $20,000 in challenge funds to be split between the CU Boulder Fund for Excellence and the Student Emergency Fund—meaning donors’ impact will go even further when supporting these two funds.
Additional funds representing schools, colleges and units across campus—designed to help shape future leaders, foster innovation and impact humanity—will also be available, sodonors can choose an area that resonates with them most powerfully.
