The BFA in Design, Technology, and Management includes a focus on production practicums and studios to prepare students for a professional theatre career in design, construction, technology, theatre management or stage management

Overview

The BFA concentration in Theatre Design, Technology, and Management requires a significant number of theatre credits in addition to the general BA requirements. Â鶹ÒùÔº who choose this concentration must elect one primary emphasis (Theatre Design, Theatre Technology and Theatre/Stage Management) but may have opportunities to explore other emphases.Ìý

Program Requirements

  • All BA in Theatre general requirements
  • All
  • Up to 67 credits in theatre and an additional 15 credits in other disciplinesÌý
  • A grade of C-Ìýor better is needed in each required course
  • An overall theatre GPA of 2.00

Application

Entry into this BFA concentrationÌýis by interview only. Interested students must meet with the faculty during the fall semester of their sophomore year (by theirÌýthird semester).
