Please join us for the third annual Biomedical Engineering Career Symposium to be held at CU Boulder campus! The Biomedical Engineering Program at the University of Colorado, Boulder is an interdisciplinary program that prepares talented students for a variety of positions. With nearly 300 students (undergraduates and graduate students) anticipated to be in attendance, our event is a unique opportunity to develop a relationship with our program and students; and find prospective interns and entry-level engineers.
We are encouraging freshmen and sophomores to attend the symposium as a way of exploring their career interests. They may ask you questions about future career possibilities. We appreciate the time you spend with these students, giving them valuable experience and a forum for their questions. They may prove to be just the candidate you will be looking for in a year or two.

* Demo’s Description:
The interactive demonstrations held in the Aspen Rooms will consist of a presentation followed by a Q&A session. Gold-level sponsor representatives will be able to discuss company achievements, recent developments, employment opportunities, and more. Demonstrations with company products, presentations, and other visual aids may be likely to garner more participation; however, the format of the demonstration is at the discretion of the company. After the presentation, the representatives will allow questions to encourage a discussion for the students to gain exposure to the industry.
** 1:1’s Description:
During 1:1 meetings, a company or medical school representative and student will have an 8 minute conversation, followed by a 2 minute transition. The meetings will take place in a separate room from the ballroom. In addition, each representative will have their own table, which creates a more private setting. This section of the career symposium is an opportunity for students to gain interview experience. Â鶹ÒùÔº and representatives may be able to foster stronger connections through a more in-depth discussion than what is offered solely during tabling. Representatives will be provided with a list of the students they are meeting with prior to the event, which will include their major and graduation year.
