Program SummaryÌý

The primary objective is to support fellowships for nuclear science, engineering, technology and related disciplines to develop a workforce capable of supporting the design, construction, operation, and regulation of nuclear facilities and the safe handling of nuclear materials. The nuclear related discipline supported by this funding is intended to benefit the nuclear sector broadly. A listing of topics of interest are listed in the Program Objectives section of the solicitation.

Internal Application Requirements (all in PDF format)

  • Project Summary (2-3 pages): Please address the following: key personnel, proposed program, recruitment activities, applicant selection process, evaluation plan. Please identify if the proposed program is from the NRC listed areas of interest.
  • PI CV (up to 2 pages)
  • Budget Overview (up to 1 page): A basic budget outlining project costs is sufficient; detailed OCG budgets are not required.

Note: Cost sharing or matching is not required, however, institutions are encouraged to cost share or match NRC funding to enhance the benefits of the NRC grant.
