Primary sources documenting the history of CU Boulder student activism for LGBTQ+ rights are now a searchable collection and mini exhibition at the University Libraries thanks to students who cataloged the artifacts and curated the exhibition.Ìý

The collection features materials from Boulder Gay Liberation—an on-campus student group from the 1970s and 1980s—and was donated to the University Libraries by an alumnus and former group member.Ìý

The collection is now available to scholars through the Libraries’ Rare and Distinctive Collections (RaD). The collection was used last semester by Museum Studies students, who visited the RaD Reading Room as part of their class. One student used the collection to curate the mini exhibition as a final project.
