NIH INCLUDE Data Science for Diverse Scholars in Down Syndrome Research (DS3) summer workshop is coming!
Ìýis hosting an in-person, immersive summer course in data sciences known as the Data Science for Diverse Scholars in Down Syndrome Research (DS3) on July 24th - August 4th.ÌýParticipants will learn the basics of how to generate, identifyÌýand collect high-content multidimensional datasets; their management, analysis, and visualization; as well as the development of key professional skills required for the career advancement.

The Signaling and Cellular Regulation (SCR) T32 Training Program is now also focused on Trisomy 21.
We are happy to announce that the SCR T32 Training program obtained additional funds from the NIH to incorporate 4 new graduate trainees devoted to projects searching to elucidate cellular and molecular mechanisms that are altered in Down syndrome-associated disorders. We welcome Chris Ozzeroff (Allen-Dowell Labs), Sashi Weerawarana (Luger lab), David Vaisar (Ahn Lab) and Hannah Arthur (Aydin Lab). Congratulations!!
Sie Postdoctoral Fellowships for Down syndrome Research
Congratulations to our most recentÌýSie Fellowship awardees, Deirdre Logsdon (Brumbaugh Lab) and Jesse Vigoga Kurland (Olwin Lab). The Sie Fellowships are made possible by a substantial gift from the Anna and John J. Sie Foundation, the founding donors of the Crnic Institute and CBB. Didi and Jesse will join ourÌýfirst two Sie Fellowship awardees, Milstead (Hoeffer Lab) and Giulia Pasquesi (Chuong Lab)Ryan Milstead (Hoeffer Lab) and Giulia Pasquesi (Chuong Lab) to expand our efforts and research lines contributing to a better understanding of the processes underlying specific Down syndrome co-occurring conditions.
