Geometry
Research in geometry at CU Boulder comprises of algebraic geometry, differential geometry and noncommutative geometry.
Our focus in algebraic geometry is on moduli of curves, Picard groups, abelian varieties, logarithmic geometry, deformation theory. In differential geometry, the research centers around the applications of differential geometry to the study of differential equations arising both in geometry and analysis. In noncommutative geometry we study index theory, (co)homological methods and deformation theory.
