Pamela Souza is a professor and听chair in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Knowles Hearing Center, Northwestern University.听 She is also the laboratory director of the Hearing Aid Laboratory at Northwestern with a focus on hearing aids for older adults.听 Professor Souza collaborates with Kathy Arehart on how hearing aid signal processing algorithms interact with listener age and cognitive status, and how research findings in this area can guide clinical practice.
