For international students in need of financial support during times of global crises, CU Boulder’s International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) can help by nominating eligible students for one-time grants from the Institute of International Education’s (IIE) Emergency Student Fund.

The Rec Center invites you to stop by during winter break when all Buff OneCard holders enjoy free access to the Rec's fitness facilities. There is a guest fee for non-Buff OneCard holders of $10 per day. There is an additional fee for climbing gym and skate rentals.

Join fellow CU Boulder students to spend the day “on” (instead of spending the day off) by connecting and participating in community celebrations in Denver.

Join the CU Boulder Center for African and African American Studies in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The event will include a keynote talk by Dr. Reiland Rabaka, founder and director of the Center for African and African American Studies, and a musical performance by the University of Denver Spirituals Project Choir. The event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome.

Learn a martial art for fitness, self-defense, or self-confidence. All our instructors are professionals of high rank, with many years of practice and experience behind them. Classes include Aikido, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Enshin Karate, Eskrima, Kendo, Muy Thai, Tai Chi, and Women's Self Defense.

I Love Mondays is a weekly event hosted by the Center for Student Involvement that creates a space for students to connect with one another, learn about different organizations and events on campus, and relieve some of the Monday blues. Semester programs include first day of class photos, donuts and hot cocoa, Pi Day pizza, charcuterie, and Earth Day dirt pudding.

Take time out of your week to relax and craft with your peers. DIY Nights are a great way to engage with others while participating in craft projects. Projects offered this semester include pressed flower lanterns, candle making, sock animals, soap making, and succulent origami.

The Buffalo Nites late-night program series offers fun, entertaining, and engaging events for free to all students!

International Coffee Hour is open to all members of the CU community--students, scholars, faculty, and staff. It is a social event that encourages mingling, celebrating culture and diversity, and promoting inclusivity on campus. Drop by International Coffee Hour for great company and free coffee, snacks, and games!

The National Western Stock Show every January is a true Colorado tradition dating back to 1906, featuring one of the country’s largest horse and livestock shows — plus the richest professional rodeo in the west. 

Travel down the rabbit hole MOMIX-style with Moses Pendletonʼs newest creation “Alice,” inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.” As Alice's body grows and shrinks and grows again, the performers extend themselves using props, ropes, and even other dancers. Audiences will take a journey that is magical, mysterious, fun, eccentric and more.

This season we will focus our efforts and only serve Ikon mountains. The Ikon Pass is the most popular with CU students and the student run Boulder Freeride organization has great pricing for the pass. 

This event is sponsored by the Center for African & African American Studies (the CAAAS) and the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and is free and open to all students, staff, faculty, and members of the Boulder community. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.

The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) invites all new postdocs to a virtual orientation to help familiarize postdocs new to campus with CU Boulder.

In partnership with Women & Gender Studies, CU Law School, and The Department of Sociology, the International Film Series is proud to host this free screening of the local documentary, The Holly. Director Julian Rubinstein and film subject Terrance Roberts will be at the screening in person!

The 10th annual Old Man Winter Rally is a must-do Colorado endurance festival with mixed terrain adventures for all levels of riders and runners. All events come together for a big party with live bands, bonfires, hot food, cold beers, s'mores, and a huge expo.

Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities, traditional Western and Southern African dances, and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into one compelling artistic experience.

Emerging BFA choreographers craft new dance works in an exciting fusion of genres that explores a variety of personal themes.
