Founded by the University of Queensland in 2008, the聽聽is an academic competition that cultivates students鈥� presentation and science communication skills聽by challenging them to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience after a few months of preparation.
The top three winners of the competition, which takes place annually in February,聽receive research funding, with the first place winner getting $1,500 and a chance to represent the university at the regional competition.
