Your Infrastructure & Sustainability Human Resources (I&S HR) team, in partnership with CU Boulder's Career Services, Coursera and Google, is pleased to announce an exciting professional development opportunity for all I&S and Facilities Management staff.
You can now earn a Google Career Certificate in a flexible online training program that offers professional certificates in six focus areas: Data Analytics, Project Management, Cybersecurity, Digital Marketing and E-Commerce, IT Support, and/or UX Design.
Professional Certificates:
- There is no cost for I&S staff to participate in this professional development opportunity.
- Learn at your own pace.
- Complete the certification program on your own terms.
- 3 to 6 months to complete with under 10 hours of flexible study per week.
- Stand out for promotional opportunities.
- 75% of certificate graduates report a positive career outcome (e.g. new job or promotion) within six months of completion.
- No experience necessary.
- Learn job-ready skills.
- Access career resources like coaching sessions, mock interviews, and a resume builder tool upon completion.Â
Program Expectations
- Commit to your professional development and growth by actively participating in the online content in your chosen certification program.
- Be available to attend one program check in meeting each month (45 minutes). These meetings will be hybrid.Â
- This program will be a cohort model, meaning you’ll be learning alongside I&S colleagues and be supported by program administrators Nancy Portner and Kelsey Draper.
- Study will be on your own time, or with supervisor approval, you may study while on the job.
- Engage and have fun!
