About Us

The Facilities Management Operations Control Center (OCC) is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week. It is the point of contact between the campus community and the Facilities Management department. Trained technicians staff the Operations Control Center. They are responsible for taking trouble calls, monitoring fire and environmental alarms, and dispatching the appropriate personnel to take care of problems. They are a critical link between University of Colorado Police Department, the Boulder Fire Department, Facilities Operations trade shops and the campus community in times of emergency.
