Bryce Rives is a second year PhD in chemical engineering. He completed his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering at Montana State University. Bryce has an interest developing computer models to aid in energy storage, in particular he strives to understand the fundamental transport phenomenon involved in supercapacitors. Peter Romero is a second-year PhD student in the Chemical Engineering program. He completed his B.S. and M.Eng. in chemical engineering and material science, respectively, at Cornell University. Cora Becker is a senior undergraduate student at CU Boulder, pursuing a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Paloma is a senior undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student. She is an international student hailing from Madrid, Spain. She attends CU Boulder through the CMU/CU Boulder engineering partnership program. Paloma works on the intersection of biomechanics and fluid mechanics. Filipe graduated with a PhD from our group in 2024. In his thesis, he developed new circuit representations of electrode charging for supercapacitors. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Complex Fluids Group at Princeton.

Nathan Jarvey is a third-year PhD student in Chemical Engineering. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Iowa, where he studied the use of functional nanomaterials for supercapacitor applications under Syed Mubeen.
