Visiting Boulder

Visitors at CU Boulder can expect comfortable accommodations, variety and quality in our dining and catering options and an almost endless supply of activities and events to enjoy. Our goal is to provide you with an exceptional conference experience.

Boulder is 5,430 feet in elevation and has a sunny, semi-arid climate. Average temperatures in the summer can rangeÌýanywhere from the high 50s in the evenings to the mid-90s during the day. Hydrating during your stay is very important, as altitude sickness (headache, nausea, shortness of breath, dizziness and fatigue) can occur. Weather conditions can change rapidly throughout each day and from day-to-day.
