Mr. Sirangelo is currently a Scholar in Residence in Aerospace Engineering at CU Boulder.聽 He was the founding executive and聽former Head of Sierra Nevada Space Systems, as well as the聽Founding member and past Chairman of the Commercial Spaceflight Federation. He was recently elected a fellow of the American Institute聽of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) in recognition of his notable and valuable contributions to arts, sciences or technology of aeronautics and astronautics. He led program teams that聽participated in over 300 space missions, including more than 20 planetary and 70 NASA missions.聽
