Upcoming ALTEC Faculty Workshop: Getting Started with UDL in World Languages
Join ALTEC,听Karen Crouch听from CTL/ASSETT, and Brad Grabham from Continuing Education's Learning Design Group听on Wednesday, September 18 at 1 -2 p.m. for an engaging 1-hour Zoom workshop designed specifically for world language instructors. This session will introduce you to the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and demonstrate how to apply them effectively in your language classroom. UDL is an educational framework that aims to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn. Whether you are new to UDL or looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop will provide you with the knowledge and tools to create a more inclusive and effective language learning environment.
