Providing Department Feedback

Â鶹ÒùÔº, staff, and faculty are welcome to provide feedback on their experience in our department. CEAE encourages community members to engage in discussions on inclusion and equity in culture, leadership, and policy in our department. Feedback may include input related to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion; suggestions on improving classroom experience; or ideas for department events to enhance our knowledge and/or sense of community. 

Please read below for suggestions on how to make your voice heard.

Please use our anonymous form to submit comments about the Department of Civil, Architectural & Environmental Engineering's culture, or your leadership or policy experience in the department.

  • You may reach out to your academic advisor and/or faculty mentor. 

  • You may contact the Department Chair to provide feedback about CEAE classroom experiences, culture and policies. If you want to know what action was taken, please discuss a plan for follow-up so you can be aware of how your concerns have been addressed. 

  • If you have concerns or suggestions related to the overall undergraduate curriculum, you may contact the Associate Chair for Undergraduate Education. If you want to know what action was taken, please discuss a plan for follow-up so you can be aware of how your concerns have been addressed. 

  • If you wish to share feedback anonymously, please use the anonymous department feedback form on the righthand side of this page.

  • All CEAE undergraduate students are also invited to participate in Faculty Course Questionnaires (FCQs) administered in each course every semester, and provide their perspectives through the Senior Survey in the final semester before graduation.

  • If you have concerns about unprofessional workplace conduct, please contact your supervisor. In cases where it relates to your supervisor, please contact a Department or Associate Chair.
