Leadership, Excellence and Purpose (LEAP)

Lead the World

Mobilizing future women leaders.

The women of Leeds today will be the future changemakers, CEOs and business leaders of tomorrow. Would you like to be one of them?

As one of the talented students admitted to Leeds this year, we know you have the drive and ambition to follow your calling, but you don’t have to do it alone. Become part of a community of like-minded women who will motivate and encourage you to reach your goals, together.

We are excited to offer Leadership, Excellence and Purpose (LEAP) to incoming first-year students—a tight-knit group of 40 members who support their peers and share a desire to make a positive impact on the world.

The LEAP program is part of Leeds’ mission to close the gender gap and empower students to seize their full potential. This selective, one-year program provides you with leadership development both inside and outside of the classroom while examining issues of gender equity in business.

You will learn from female leaders who share priceless advice and insights on how to compete in male-dominated industries; how to get ahead in non-inclusive workplaces; and how to have courageous conversations that elevate your career.

Change the way you understand gender equity in the business world and transform the way you lead.

The application for Fall 2024 is now closed. Please consider looking at different clubs and organizations for community engagement within Leeds!
