  • See our Equipment page for policies and other information about reserving VRC equipment. You can reserve equipment in the "Art and Art History Equipment (VRC)" section of the .
  • Faculty and staff can reserve rooms 330A (conference), 303 (seminar), 308 (lecture), 455 (seminar), and 485 (lecture) in the "Art and Art History Rooms and Spaces" section of the .

The Visual Resources Center is located in the Visual Ars Complex, Room 310. We provide and facilitate access to images, imaging, and related information resources for teaching, learning, and research in the Department of Art and Art History. We support AAH students and faculty through: 

    • A digital library including student work, images used for teaching, videos from the Visiting Artist program, and other content reflecting the Department’s research and curriculum;
    • Computer stations, scanners, software, training, and support in digital imaging, image research, and classroom presentations;
    • Equipment, facilities, and training for documenting creative work/research and managing digital archives, and support for designated classrooms within the department.

    • The VRC is closed for university holidays, during fall, winter, and spring breaks, and other times when there are no AAH classes in session. We may be available by advance appointment during breaks. Please email us and ask.

    • ​​​Illness or other staffing limitations may occasionally cause the VRC to close unexpectedly during scheduled hours. If this happens, email the VRC for assistance.
