Provost's Post, August 2024
Friends, welcome back. I hope your summer was safe and restful. As the semester begins, there are lots of things to look forward to on campus and also in this edition of the Provost’s Post.
First, I invite you to visit the perspectives piece by Chancellor Justin Schwartz, where you can read about what excites him about our academic mission. I share his enthusiasm, and I am excited for the direction he has articulated for CU Boulder.
You’ll find helpful information in our projects section to help you start off the instructional year, and I encourage you to review the section on our first home football game—which will fall on Thurs., Aug. 29, at 6 p.m.—and plan accordingly. Discounted tickets are also available for faculty and staff who are interested.
The new semester will present new challenges for all of us. I know you are a match for all of them, and you have my very best wishes for a successful and productive academic year.
With gratitude,
Russ
