TissueForm Inc.
TissueForm improves life for people affected by volumetric tissue loss by harnessing the natural, restorative power of extracellular matrix to correct and repair defects or injuries with a novel, regenerative biomaterial.
The University of Colorado Connection
TissueForm was founded by Professor Corey Neu (Paul M. Rady Mechanical Engineering) and Jeanne Barthold, who received her PhD in the Neu lab. TissueForm addresses volumetric tissue loss by harnessing the natural, restorative power of tissue extracellular matrix. TissueForm’s biomaterial fills volumetric defects, integrates with host tissue and promotes healing. TissueForm participated in Venture Partners’ Starting Blocks and Research to Market (R2M) customer discovery programs (through I-Corps™ Hub: West) and won funding through the Lab Venture Challenge (LVC). The company further engaged in the Ascent Deep-Tech Accelerator and Destination Startup® and has won funding from the Advanced Industries Accelerator through the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT).
