- The U.S. Department of Education released its final Title IX rules, which will be effective Aug. 1. This means schools across the nation must update their policies and processes for addressing sex discrimination to align with the revised federal law.
- At its April meeting, the CU Board of Regents approved a 4% compensation pool for CU Boulder employees to be implemented effective Jan. 1, 2025.
- After receiving feedback on the leadership structure of the College of Arts and Sciences, Provost Russell Moore plans to appoint an interim dean in the next several weeks.
- Provost Russell Moore is continuing deliberations on restructuring the leadership of the College of Arts and Sciences and expects to announce a path forward the week of May 13.
- At its April meeting, the Campus Sustainability Executive Council discussed the next steps for the Climate Action Plan and proposed alternatives to the West District Energy Plant updates.
- At the Boulder Faculty Assembly’s final meeting, Martin Bickman and Chancellor Philip DiStefano were honored for 50 years’ faculty service; Andrea Feldman and Rolf Norgaard were honored in retirement. The assembly selected new officers and passed a resolution creating a resources committee.
