Excitement is steadily building for the 2024 football season, and those who want to see the Buffs take on North Dakota State University on Thursday, Aug. 29, can take advantage of a ticket deal that is exclusive to CU Boulder faculty and staff.

Faculty and staff members can get $10 off tickets for seating in all levels of the bowl at Folsom Field, excluding premium seating. Simply access the special faculty and staff promo ticket page to grab your tickets.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tickets for all CU home football games, with the exception of Family Weekend (vs. Cincinnati) and Homecoming (vs. Baylor) are on sale now.

Come watch the Buffs open the 2024 campaign, playing against North Dakota State University on Aug. 29, and save $10 using the faculty and staff promo ticket page. Kickoff for the game is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Elevations Credit Union Buffalo Bicycle Classic bike ride fundraiser will take place Sept. 8 in celebration of its 22-year support of the College of Arts and Sciences BBC Scholarship Fund. This year, the 10-mile Little Buff route has been refreshed to gear it toward kids and families.

The annual Black and Gold spring football game is back this Saturday, and this year’s edition is bigger and better than ever, with activities starting Thursday and continuing throughout the weekend.

From the Prime’s Got Talent show to the game itself Saturday afternoon and a post-game concert featuring Lil Wayne, here’s what you need to know to ensure you can enjoy all of the festivities throughout the weekend.

Thursday, April 25

Prime’s Got Talent

The weekend starts with a one-of-a-kind talent show hosted by Coach Prime and featuring some of the area’s best talent who will compete in front of celebrity judges for a cash prize. The event will also be capped-off by a VIP performance you won’t want to miss.

Women’s lacrosse vs. Oregon

The women’s lacrosse team wraps up its 2024 season with a Senior Day celebration against the Oregon Ducks under the lights at Prentup Field.

This will be the first chance to see the Buffaloes as they embark on their second season under Coach Prime. The annual scrimmage will also feature the first run of the season by Ralphie, conditions permitting.

Colorado Avenue will be closed at 9:30 a.m. from Folsom to 18th Street. Vehicle inbound and outbound routes will be altered throughout the day to facilitate ingress and egress.
CU's Buff Buses will be running the football game day route during the game. The employee shuttles will run from 5:30 a.m., and employee and patron shuttles will run from 8:30 a.m. until approximately 1 a.m to accommodate concert-goers after the game. Route W: Williams Village will be running the regular Saturday route and schedule.

In a season of superlatives, CU Boulder will have one more opportunity to celebrate being in the center of the sports world, as Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders as been named 2023 Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year in recognition of his tremendous impact on CU Boulder, the community and on college athletics in general.

Sanders will accept the award at a free star-studded public event at the CU Events Center on Dec. 6 beginning at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the award, the night will also include the world premiere of “Coach Prime” season two, the hit docuseries from Amazon Prime Video. The docuseries, which does not become available to the public until Dec. 7, provides an inside look at the program and showcases CU Boulder.

CU Boulder is quickly becoming a bastion of basketball with both the women’s and men’s teams starting the 2023–24 season in winning ways. Both teams will be hosting upcoming games at the CU Event Center, and it's a perfect time for fans to come out and cheer on the Buffs!

In their season opener this week, the CU women’s basketball team sent a message to the college basketball world by knocking off reigning national champion Louisiana State University. They then followed that win with a dominant triumph over Le Moyne to start the campaign 2-0. Don’t miss your chance to cheer on the 20th-ranked women’s team at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, as they face Oklahoma State.

Meanwhile, after defeating Towson in their season and home opener this week, and looking to match the women’s 2-0 start, the CU men’s team is preparing for a their next game at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, against the Milwaukee Panthers.
