Nominations
- Each year, the Best Should Teach Awards honor CU Boulder faculty, graduate instructors and local K-12 teachers at an annual ceremony. Student nominations of professors are due by Nov. 1.
- Chancellor Philip DiStefano invites nominations for the 2023 Chancellor’s Employee of the Year Awards, which include a $2,000 prize and a commemorative gift. Nominations are due by Oct. 4.
- There are many benefits to serving on Staff Council. If you believe you or a staff member you work with would be a great advocate for employees, we encourage you to nominate. Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged as well.
- Recognize the hard work of student-employees by nominating them for Student Employee of the Year. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15.
- CU Boulder will continue its McNair Scholars Program for five more years after receiving a $1.34 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Recruitment for the next cohort begins this month, and faculty and staff nominations are a crucial component.
- One of the most prestigious awards at CU Boulder, the Hazel Barnes Prize focuses on the enriching relationship between teaching and research. Nominations are now being accepted through March 3.
- CU Boulder Provost Russell Moore provided an update on the search for the dean of the Leeds School of Business. This past spring and summer, Yonca Ertimur became the acting dean of the school and the university launched a national search.
- The CU Boulder School of Education has a unique opportunity to rename our campus building in honor of a distinguished educator, and we want your help. The deadline for nominations is Nov. 18.
- The Distinguished Research Lectureship is among the highest honors bestowed by the faculty upon CU Boulder colleagues. The deadline for nominations is June 20.
- The campus is calling on students to answer one question: Who are your most inspiring educators at CU Boulder? Nominations for the 2022 Best Should Teach faculty awards are due April 22.
