Urban/Rural Divorce Trial To Be Played Out In Fort Collins

The Center of the American West at the University of Colorado at Boulder will host a mock divorce trial between the rural and urban West on Saturday, Oct. 21, in Fort Collins. The program will be held from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Stuart St., and is sponsored by Common Ground - The Urban/Rural Connection, an organization that promotes sustainable communities. The event is free and open to the public.

Eatons Donate $5 Million For CU-Boulder's Arts And Sciences Building

The CU Board of Regents announced today that Woody and Leslie Eaton have donated $5 million toward the support of CU-Boulder聮s new Humanities Building at the College of Arts and Sciences. CU-Boulder Signs Exchange Agreement With Tuskegee University

CU-Boulder Chancellor Richard Byyny and Tuskegee University President Benjamin Payton will sign an agreement on Monday, Oct. 16, that will join the two campuses in an exchange of students, faculty, curriculum and technology. The agreement will be signed at the Kellogg Conference Center on the campus of Tuskegee University.

Judaism, Business And The Environment Topic Of Public Seminar At CU-Boulder Oct. 17

A unique seminar on environmental issues involving prominent Jewish thinkers, environmental activists, businesspeople, academics and local politicians will be hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder聮s Environmental Studies Program Oct. 17. The seminar is the first event of a new project the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, or CLAL, has begun to bring together people with diverse perspectives on environmental issues for study and dialogue, said Rabbi Robert Rabinowitz, a senior fellow at the center. CLAL is based in New York City.
