Health and Wellness Services moving under Strategic Resources and Support

To reflect the university’s holistic approach to campus needs, CU Boulder’s Health and Wellness Services unit is moving from Student Affairs to Strategic Resources and Support. Also, the Faculty and Staff Assistance program, currently in Human Resources, will become part of HWS.

CUPD supports cultural change through active bystander program

The CU Boulder campus is home to the first university police department in Colorado selected for the Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement Project through the Georgetown University Law Center. ABLE training is designed to help first responders do a better job of identifying police misconduct in peers and intervening.

Two former football players, Jim Hansen and Eric McCarty, are the first inductees in 35 years into the CU Hall of Honor. Also, a legacy wing has been created with twins Peggy Coppom and the late Betty Hoover as the first honorees.

Faculty promotion and tenure raises approved

Effective July 1, the raise for promotion to tenured associate professor will increase from $2,000 to $6,500; the raise for promotion to full professor will increase from $3,000 to $10,500.
