Faculty SPACE set for Oct. 11 at Fiske
The and Research & Innovation Office are co-hosting a on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Faculty from all colleges and centers are invited to join for light appetizers, a cash bar and inter-departmental and cross-college conversation in the Fiske Space Gallery. To cap off the night, Fiske Director John Keller will lead an immersive experience within the 8K-x-8K full dome theater, taking attendees to exotic locations across the globe and galaxy for a shared virtual reality experience across space and time.
Faculty SPACE is a faculty-led initiative to build community across campus for tenured, tenure-track, and teaching/clinical faculty. These events, which are a combination of socializing and discussing topics of importance to faculty, will bring faculty together regularly to support community building.
OFA is excited to partner with the Fiske Planetarium, which will provide an opportunity to share with faculty from across campus the capabilities and opportunities that exist for collaboration and instruction across all disciplines. Come and see how you can use the planetarium for your classes!
