Mindful Mondays: Celebrate Safely

You have a lot to celebrate. Take a break, come meditate on self-love and how to end the semester on a positive note.

Ready to meet like-minded students, find things to do and learn about opportunities in campus sustainability? Come hang out, get free food and listen to speakers who are in student leadership to learn how you can get involved.

This will be an honest conversation about suicide prevention for students by students. You will learn to notice the signs when someone may be having thoughts of suicide, tips for having important conversations and how to connect someone to the available resources.

Health Huts: Illness Prevention

2–4 p.m.SEEC North Atrium (near the café)
With midterms, fall break and finals, there are things you can do to prevent yourself from getting sick during this time of year. Stop by to learn about illness prevention strategies and resources if you do get sick.


Wednesday, Dec. 1

Attend this workshop to find the best test-taking strategy for you and how to create a study schedule for your final exams.This presentation is open to all students. to prepare for your finals.

4–7 p.m. Village Center Multipurpose Room
Are you looking for a place to live for next year? Then attend the Off-Campus Housing Fair to meet with property managers and landlords, and learn more about what properties are available. Get tips for how to live off campus and enjoy some free food and giveaway prices while you’re there!

Don’t know where to start or feeling stuck in your internship search? No problem! Join Career Services to learn about strategies for finding, applying for and successfully getting internships. to participate.

Join your fellow art aficionados to create a work of art even a beginner painter can be proud of. This is a great way to meet fellow Buffs while creating a snowy scenery to add to your seasonal decoration. Each event is limited to the first 50 students, and all supplies are included. Registration is required.


Friday, Dec. 3

4–6 p.m. UMC,The Connection
Connect with your community at this fun UMC tradition! December’s theme is “Home for the Holidays.” Come decorate your own gingerbread house while enjoying a warm bowl of chili and cornbread! Plus, there will be half-price bowling and billiards during the event.

8–10 p.m. Rec Center
Come to the Rec Center for an evening of free glow-in-the-dark basketball! Don’t forget to bring your Buff OneCard to enter.
