Colorado basketall, lacrosse, tennis all in action

Both Colorado basketball teams have important home games this weekend, and the lacrosse and tennis teams will also be hosting matches at home.

Men's basketball

On Thursday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m., the nationally-ranked Colorado men’s basketball team plays its second to last home game of the season as USC comes to the CU Events Center. Â鶹ÒùÔº who arrive early will receive a free twinning T-shirt in honor of the twins, Peggy and Betty, and all fans are encouraged to wear black for the game. 

Then at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, the Buffs host UCLA. The theme for the game will be Senior Day. Be sure to arrive early to help honor the team's two seniors, Lucas Siewert and Shane Gatling. Â鶹ÒùÔº who arrive early will receive free food from Chick-fil-A, while supplies last.

Women's basketball

The Colorado women’s basketball team hosts Arizona State at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21. The theme will be Disney Night, with Disney characters on the concourse available for pictures.

On Sunday, Feb. 22, at noon, the Buffs play Arizona. The theme will be Senior Day; fans should arrive early to help the team recognize its senior player, Quinessa Caylao-Do. Â鶹ÒùÔº who arrive early will also receive free food from Raising Cane's restaurant, while supplies last. Additionally, Sunday will be Casino Day and a Sunday Funday event, including casino-themed games, inflatables and other kids activities before the game.

Â鶹ÒùÔº are admitted for free with their Buff OneCard, and kids ages 12 and under are admitted for free. Fans can purchase two adult tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks for only $40

Lacrosse

The nationally-ranked Colorado lacrosse team plays their first home game of the season at 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, against Harvard at Kittredge Field. The theme will be Learn Lacrosse Day, and fans will be able to learn about various rules and skills in the sport.

Admission is free. Â鶹ÒùÔº who arrive early will receive free hot chocolate. After the game, be sure to stick around to get autographs from the team.

Tennis

At noon on Saturday, Feb. 22, the Colorado tennis team hosts Wyoming at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center, located on Taft Drive between Folsom and 28th streets. Admission is free to the match. In honor of breast cancer awareness, fans attending the match will receive pink pompoms.
