Fifty years ago, a mammoth effort by hundreds of thousands of Americans culminated in Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon. The Brainwaves podcast takes a look back at how they did it with author Charles Fishman. And we talk with a CU Boulder geologist who is set to analyze moon rocks that have been tucked away for more than 40 years. Then we hear about our future on the moon—for astronauts and for the first lunar radio telescope, which CU Boulder is helping to create.
