CU Boulder is home to many brilliant minds who deserve the chance to share their knowledge with the world. Interested in a unique opportunity to talk about ideas worth spreading and inspire others?
TEDxCU 2019 is currently accepting speaker and committee applications. Anyone can apply—students, faculty and staff, community members and professionalsnear and far. No experience is required; both seasoned speakers and beginners are invited to apply. TEDxCU is a great platform for stage exposure and the chance to work with a speaker coach.
Most recently, a TEDxCU 2014 speaker, Michele Weiner-Davis, had her TED Talk reach over 4 million views on YouTube.
Being a TEDxCU speaker takes around 100 hours and requires attending four speaker coaching events. In addition to this, you will receive personal coaching from our professional speaker coach. In the past, speakers have frequently commented how much they learn through the speaker coaching process and that participating in TEDxCU was a significant life experience.
TED’s motto is “ideas worth sharing”:If you think you've got one, apply now. Interested in volunteering for TEDxCU 2019? Apply for one of our committees! You’ll work with the Executive Team to support the event. Apply for both at before the deadline of Nov. 21.
