This weekend, check out several events onand off campus: an evening filled with the music of Star Wars, a student show displayingadvertising and design work, the Boulder County Farmers Market, free finals snack stations at the UMC and theMaster of Fine Arts thesis exhibition.

Friday, May 4

The Boulder Chamber Orchestra Orchestra and Boulder Chorale are celebrating Star Wars Day by performing music by John Williams. Tickets start at $15 and will be held at Macky from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Advertising, Public Relations and Media Design students will show off their advertising and design work from the entire semester while having their annual awards showcase. This event is open to the public, and light refreshments will be served. It runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Carlson Gym.


Saturday, May 5

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., local businesses and vendors will set up shop between Canyon and Arapahoe off Broadway. There will be free entertainment, food and fun!

At 9:45 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 3:45 p.m.and 6:45 p.m., the UMC is hosting a station for free finals snacks. They will be located on the second floor by the atrium. All students with a Buff One Card are welcome. Tea and coffee also will be served.


Sunday, May 6

Works from Yasmin Mazloom, Aaron Treher, Jonathan Welshand Rachel Wright will be on display at the CU Art Museum from 5 to7 p.m. This event repeats though May 12.
