Not only is GZA an incredibly talented hip-hop artist, he is also a co-founder of the Science Genius program, where he educates students about science through the potent cultural forceof hip-hop. His enthusiasm for science heavily influences his music.

GZA educates listeners about fundamental scientific principles in a new and exciting way, helping audiences understand how we are all connected to the natural world and the universe around us. On stage, he recites narrative “freestyles”—often off the top of his head—that truly tell the story of the powerful relationship between science and hip-hop.

GZA's talk will be followed bya moderated Q&A session, and attendees are encouraged to on the Facebook event page.

The event is free to all, but seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.Doors open at 6:30 p.m.,and the event starts at 7 p.m. in the Glenn Miller Ballroom.
